If you discover any issues with workmanship, materials, or embroidery during this period, we'll remake your patch at no cost or issue a full refund.

What's Covered (✓)
Your 12-month guarantee covers:
- Embroidery defects: Loose or missing stitches, uneven embroidery, or threading issues that appear within 12 months
- Stitching failure: Thread coming loose, unravelling, or pulling away from the patch material
- Material defects: Tears, holes, or structural damage to the patch material from manufacturing (not from use)
- Colour defects: Dye bleeding, uneven colour application, or areas of missing dye from manufacturing
- Text clarity: Text embroidered incorrectly, off-centre, or in the wrong colour from our error
What's Not Covered (✗)
The following are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered by this guarantee:
- Wear and tear: Patches naturally fade, wear, and show signs of age after 12+ months of regular use. This is cosmetic wear, not a defect.
- Improper care: Damage from washing in hot water, using bleach, dry cleaning, or aggressive scrubbing
- Extreme heat: Exposure to direct heat sources (dryers, heat presses, or ironing directly on the patch)
- Damage from accidents: Cuts, tears, burns, or other damage caused by accidents or mishandling
- UV fading: Colour fading from extended UV exposure (sunlight). Patches naturally fade in sunlight — this is cosmetic, not a manufacturing defect.
- Improper application: Issues caused by incorrect attachment, removal, or reattachment of the patch
- Customisation changes: Requests to change text, size, or colour after the patch has been embroidered
- Cosmetic imperfections: Minor colour variations, slight misalignment, or cosmetic details that don't affect function
How to Claim Your Guarantee
If you believe your patch has a manufacturing defect, here's what to do:
- Take clear photos of the defect from multiple angles. Show the embroidery, stitching, or material issue clearly.

Contact us within 30 days of discovering the defect. Email admin@globalnamepatches.com.au with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the defect
- A brief description of what's wrong
- We'll review and respond within 48 hours. In 99% of cases, we'll either remake your patch or issue a refund.
- We'll handle shipping for the replacement. No cost to you.
